Gracious! Where does the time go? Today is July 19th...thats all I have to say about that!

June and July have been fun for us! We didn't really do too much in June, except for me going back to work-boo hoo! It actually hasn't been that bad, so I probably shouldn't complain. Its just the mere fact that it (work) exists! :)

Everyone here is healthy and happy, so I should be (and am) thankful for that! I hope you enjoy some pics from the last couple of months!

Uncle Adam with his niece and nephew at Arrington Vineyards! It is so pretty there, everyone who visits us should ask us to take you there! The day that we went was scorching hot, but it was still a nice time!

We went to Homosassa for the 4th of July. It was a great trip. Cindy, Casey and the kids all came down too. Below are only a few of the pics that we took. The weather was great for the 4th and ok for the rest of the week too. We got to do some scalloping, fishing and just boat riding! What more could you ask for?

After Florida, we went to Little Rock for mom's 60th bday and mom and Randy's 10yr wedding anniversary. I didn't get too many pictures, but Chase had my camera for a bit. These are actually ones that he took. Perhaps its a photographer in the making??

After Arkansas, we had a few days to get settled in and unpacked. Then Hannah came to visit with us. (she's actually still here!) She says she's having a good time. I hope that is true! We haven't done a whole lot, but at least its different than what she'd be doing at home! We sure love having her. Jacob is coming tomorrow and they'll both be here for the rest of the week.

Mark, Chase, Chloe and Hannah all went to the zoo. Above are a few pics from there. Chase climed the crazy rope wall like a big boy! Chase and Hannah got inside a lizard (?) and took the picture in green!

We had neighbors over for dinner one night. Hannah had fun playing with the kids! I guess this is the newest stype of boxing equipment...or perhaps baseball uniforms??? Who knows? Whatever it is, they were having fun, so that is all that matters!

Us!

Its June already???

As I suspected, I had a hard time updating the blog in May. We definitely had a busy month. Below is a recap of what we did!

Chase's 4th birthday was May 10th. We had a party on May 9th with many friends at our house. It was a good time. Started out a little rainy, but ended up ok. Chase got a lot of fun gifts and got a really cool riding car from Uncle Adam. There is a video of him driving at the end of the post

A few days after his birthday, we went to Little Rock and met up with mom and Randy and we all headed to Branson, MO to Silver Dollar City. It was Chase's first experience at a 'theme' park and Chloe's first vacation. We got lots of pictures, but somehow the little one in the stroller missed out on many-sorry girl. We've got lots of other ones though!

On the way home we stopped at Arkansas' Natural bridge, pretty cool, huh?

When we got home there were only a couple more days of school left. This is Chase's last day at one of his school. He's playing with his friend Wyatt...two peas in a pod.



After school was out, we all got to go to Destin to the beach for a week. We had a blast! We met two other familes there. There were 5 kids-Chase the oldest at 4! It was busy, but actually very nice. All the kids (and parents) got along great!

June is going to be a lot less busy, and then I have to start back to work on June 22nd. BUMMER!!! I've been working one day a week for the past few weeks, to ease myself in, but that doesn't make it any better! I hope everyone is having a fantastic start to their summer! We certainly can't complain here at the Wingert household!

1 month birthday!

Well, today was Chloe's one month birthday and we forgot to celebrate...already starting off on the wrong foot, huh? She'll probably never know the wiser though, will she?!

Things are going well so far. We still don't have the nighttime thing figured out perfectly, but we're making headway. Tonight, she went to bed at 8pm, we'll see how long she stays there...so far, its 10:10 and she's not really made a peep. She'll probably be up around 11, 3 and 5, but who really knows? She loves being held-to a fault, perhaps? When she cries in teh middle of the night, if it goes on for longer than a short while, we'll go in and get her, try to feed her, but often, she just wants to sleep in our arms. Its quite cute, but annoying too because by the time we realize it, its an hour later and we've been sleeping on the chair together. Fortunately, we do both get to sleep, but unfortunately, its not in our respective beds. Oh well, I imagine this will get better with time, right?

As you can imagine, we've had a pretty busy month! I can say though that we have some great friends and family-no doubts about it! This past weekend, Susan and her 2 younger girls and her mom came up for the weekend. We had a great time. Visits from friends are always too short though! I did manage to get a few pictures, hopefully Susan can send me some others though!

The month of May will be a busy one for us too, but busy fun-hopefully! We're going to Branson, MO and Silver Dollar City May 13-15, then Destin, FL May 23-30! We also have Chase's birthday, Mother's Day and our 7th wedding anniversary too! WOW! Doesn't sound like a cheap month, does it? Well, it'll all be worth it, I'm sure! Who knows when I'll get to post in May, but I promise I will!
