We had a great, busy HOT July in TN! You saw our 4th of July post previously. The weekend after the 4th, Adam Chase and I headed to Little Rock for my 20th HS reunion...yes, you read that right, I'm actually that old! OUCH! It was great to see some old friends. I must say, everyone looked pretty darn good! It was great to catch up with people-some I haven't seen in years....some in the same town that I'm in now, and we're not much better at keeping up! Oh well, I guess thats what happens when we all grow up, get responsbile and families of our own!
That weekend was also Mom's birthday. We had to leave town on her actual b-day, but at least we were there for the weekend. We got to go out on the boat for a little while on Saturday. We went to Lake Maumelle. It was a HOT day and you can't swim in that lake-ouch! It was still nice to get out on the boat! Didn't do much else that weekend, but it was nice to be in AR.
On the way back to TN, we stopped at Taco Bell and had to take pictures of ourselves drinking a fruitista freeze! We tried to enter a contest for a free trip to St. Thomas. I didn't win the trip, but I did get a few goodies from Taco Bell! :)
The next weekend, my friend Amy from CA came to visit. It was a great time. I had to go to Atlanta on Tues and Wed, she came Thurs...so it was a pretty short week. We didn't do anything too spectacular, but we had a nice time nonetheless. We rented a hotel room in downtown Nashville and went out for a 'girls' night while Mark watched Chase (and Emma for Theresa). We stopped by Opry Land Hotel on the way to the airport...and that was that! :( The visit was too short, of course....but still fun!
I think that about rounds out the July. Today is August 4th, Jen's due date...but still no baby. I talked to her this morning and she's anxiously awaiting Cooper's arrival. Hopefully he'll come before too much longer, I don't think she's feeling too well!!!!
This coming weekend I'm having a shower for Leigh. Once that is done, I'll post some pics from that too. Hopefully before the end of the month!
